Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider 1750 RHD
Very difficult to source an orignal RHD 1750 now. This car has just been purchased and is about to undergo a total restoration. Very presentable and was 'driver' quality. Poor repairs (typically) to sills, wings and lower sections.
Follow our restoration of this now rare car. It will be one of the best in existence and of course show quality.
Back from blasting with garnet, glass and soft media - the bodyshell is mostly as expected. Outer sills have 'tack' welded sections on top of previous repairs. Offside door has clearly been bent back into wing and requires work. Floors and all lower sections rusty.
This car was in 'MoT' condition which goes to show that there is no shortcut to a proper strip down. All repairs were typically disguised with filler and other compounds.
It's important to assume that this is the case with most cars of this age - they will all have had a previous life!
