From inception in 1989, DTR European Sports Cars have concentrated on all aspects of classic Italian car ownership, from basic servicing, to concours (and award winning) restorations, all carried out in-house at our 10,000 square feet workshops in Coulsdon Surrey.
Our on site body shop caters for all your requirements from simple paint work or accident damage, to hand fabrication of body panels for a Ferrari 250 - the hourly rate is the same and not ‘means tested’! We carry out full and detailed engine rebuilds, set up and tuning and have an on site upholstery department to ensure every aspect is covered. Auto electrics and diagnostics are also all carried out under the same roof. We are a DVSA approved testing centre with fully automated test lane and rolling road.
We have carried out many detailed restorations on some of the greatest Italian creations, including Ferrari 330 GTS, GTC’s, Dinos (Spiders and GTs), 250 Pininfarinas and even 308s.
We are especially proud to have been entrusted with the 5000 hour restoration of the only Fiat Otto Vu Vignale Spider ever built, restored to original specification by DTR from a handful of photos. We have extensive knowledge of most classic Alfa Romeos, Abarths, Fiats and Lancias, having restored numerous Alfa 750, 101, 105 Spiders and Coupes, Abarth 750 and Record Monzas, Morettis, Jolly’s and even a Fiat Shelette.
DTR are world renowned specialists for Fiat 124 Spiders, especially Abarths, and CSA’s are a common sight in our workshops. We imported more Fiat Barchettas than the UK dealer network and now also specialise in the modern Abarth 124 Spider and 500 Abarth. The new 124 Evolution is being built exclusively at our premises, designed, hand crafted and utterly bespoke by DTR. Arriving 2024!
