Moretti 2300 S Spider 1963

Moretti 2300 S Spider 1963

An extremely rare car.

First unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1962, the Moretti 2500ss was mechanically based on a Fiat 2300S, bored out to 2500 and fitted with twin Weber carbs, Abarth sump and heavily modified cylinder head, five speed gearbox and a wealth of lovely Moretti detailing including this beautiful Spider bodywork. This was designed as a true 4 seater convertible, but also had the performance to match it's sporting looks, with a quoted 170BHP, disc brakes all round and lovely Borrani knock off wire wheels.

This car will be restored by us, with particular attention being paid to strengthening the bodyshell.

One of our own cars and not currently for sale, it is one of less than a handful known to exist, and may be the only one on the road!
