Abarth Record Monza
We undertook the rebuild of this bodyshell, on behalf of another restorer.
The car has a very interesting early race history, so it was important that we retained as much of the original body as possible.
This was difficult, as a hard offside accident had been masked rather than repaired, the extent of the damaged clearly evident from the pictures.
We rebuilt the offside corner as a copy of the nearside, measurements being taken from our own 750 Abarth where appropriate.
We replaced the floor pans, inner and outer sills, and fabricated new wheel arches as the originals had been cut off and replaced with fibreglass in the past.!
Approximately 400 hours of panel work went into this shell.
We are happy to quote for similar work on your car and are rarely shocked!
